We would all like to look like we have the perfect body with a good six pack stomach to show off on the beach. Sadly there are many whose abdominal muscles are not quite up to that standard, and have let the signs of a leisurely lifestyle appear.
So time to get going on the abdominal exercises and get back into shape!! You don’t have to join a fitness club or a gym if you want to keep the budget under control. There are plenty of abdominal exercises which can be done in the comfort of your own home, or with friends. That always works well as you all try to compete with each other to see who can reach their target first. Peer pressure is wonderful motivation factor.
First off in the morning try some ‘touch your toes’routines. Its simple and stretches the body. Its not directly an abdominal exercise but it helps the legs to work better for the first abs exercise
Now onto two good abs exercises. The bicycle exercise can be done sitting on the lounge floor, and this is simple working your legs up and down - you can feel the pull on your stomach muscles. Start off with just 10 or so then build it up. The most effective one is the crunch where you put hands behind your head and pull yourself up and down. It’s a real struggle at the beginning but as the muscles get back into shape it gets easier. This has to be the most effective of all the exercises.
Exercising will help you to cut down on alcohol so you can avoid problems with drink driving and abdominal exercises will help you achieve a smooth and flat stomach. There are many different types of exercises and commercial gym equipment will help you to keep your whole body on good shape.
